Compensation : $125,000 – $140,000
The Manager of Process Control & Electrical Engineering plays a critical role in supporting production and facility operations by driving process reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibility, overseeing both day-to-day troubleshooting and the successful execution of capital and improvement projects.
This role is based onsite and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of 2–4 process control and electrical engineering professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Provide direction and oversight to external drafting and design resources
Ensure full compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, with a strong focus on electrical safety and regulatory requirements
Drive process optimization by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions
Serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting complex process, control system, and power distribution issues
Manage and execute capital and continuous improvement projects from concept through completion
Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve production and performance goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and process control within an industrial environment
Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems
Experience with process control platforms such as Foxboro systems preferred
Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems strongly desired
