Automation Engineer – Manufacturing
Overview
The Automation Engineer focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing control systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred)
- Optimize equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime
- Modify and improve HMI/SCADA systems as needed
- Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience programming PLCs, especially Siemens and Allen-Bradley
- Background in industrial automation, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
